I'm coming down the home stretch of acquiring the final parts for my TT swap (and cleaning/inspecting what I bought in the past) and I realized that the turbo heatshields appear to us the stock downpipes for the third mounting point, and that it seems that you lose that mounting point with aftermarket stainless split downpipes. Is this the case? If so, how is the lost mounting point usually handled? Are the heatshields fully removed, or are they trimmed back so that the third mounting point doesn't vibrate against the downpipe? For reference, these are the heatshields I'm referring to: La-Z-Link
